Sony Pictures Launches Spider-Man 3 Contest

(February 12, 2007) Sony Pictures announced today that it is looking for two true Spider-Man fans to become official hosts for the online "Spider-Man Movie Network." The hosts will deliver the latest Spider-Man movie news and will get an inside scoop on everything that's going on with Spider-Man 3 and other Spider-Man news.

Those interested in entering have to go to the contest page, print a scipt and read it on video then upload the video to Sony Pictures for judging.

Here's the script that entrants are asked to read in under one minute and 15 seconds:

"Hey Spider-Man Movie Network Members! It's [ENTRANT FIRST NAME], with an exciting update for you. Network members can now create their own Spider- Man fan profiles with exclusive content using AOL AIM Pages. So now you can use your profile to show off your Spider-Man fan art, keep up with the Spider- Man Movie Network message boards, get breaking news about Spider-Man 3 and connect with other Spider-Man Movie Network members. Additionally, Spider-Man 3 AIM Pages are preloaded with modules including:

> A Countdown Clock to opening weekend

> A Video Gallery automatically updated with the latest videos

> and a Fan Favorites Module featuring your favorite Spider-Man Movie moments.

Plus you can access AIM Page features like your Buddy List, Photo Galleries, and Personal Profile. If you already have an AOL or AIM screen name you already have an AIM page reserved for you. If you don't have an AIM screen name you can sign up to get one for free."
