Vince Vaughn has secured a position in the young comedic Hollywood crowd, appearing in several hugely popular comedies that appeal to teenagers, college dudes, and thirty-something’s alike (albeit mostly men). Minneapolis, Minnesota born Vaughn has been in the movie scene for several years and has made his mark among today’s generation of talented young actors and producers.

Vaughn gained a cult-like following for his charismatic and charming character Trent Walker in the 1996 Doug Liman film Swingers, co-starring John Favreau and Heather Graham. In 2001, Vaughn reunited with Swingers screenwriter and co-star Jon Favreau in the comedy Made.

Vaughn has only gained mainstream attention in the last few years. Many believe his popularity really took off when he appeared in the blockbuster comedy Old School, co-starring Luke Wilson and Will Ferrell. Since Old School, Vaughn has starred in a number of outrageous popular films. In 2004, Vaughn starred as villain Reece Felman Starsky and Hutch, reuniting with his Old School director Todd Phillips. That same year Vaughn starred opposite Ben Stiller in the hit comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story and made a cameo appearance in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, starring Will Ferrell.

Vaughn was recently seen as Raji, a wannabe R&B music producer in Gary Gray’s Be Cool, a film that also starred such established actors as John Travolta and Uma Thurman. He can also be seen in Doug Liman’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith as Eddie, the friend of John Smith, played by Brad Pitt. Vaughn also appears in Thumbsucker with Keanu Reeves and Vincent D’Onofrio and in the smash hit Wedding Crashers with Owen Wilson.

Vaughn’s additional film credits include Domestic Disturbance, The Cell, Psycho, The Prime Gig, Clay Pigeons, Return to Paradise, A Cool Dry Place, The Locusts, and Steven Spielberg’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park 2. Look for him in the upcoming and recent films The Break Up (as actor and producer), a romantic comedy co-starring Jennifer Aniston, Outsourced, Other Side of Simple, and No Place Like Home.
