Daniel Radcliffe is best known for his role as the title character in the Harry Potter series’. Playing the role of Harry Potter won him the Variety Club of Great Britain’s Best Newcomer Award in February of 2002 and the David Di Donatello Award in April 2002 for his portrayal of Harry and his contribution to the future of cinema.
Before taking on the role of Harry Potter, Daniel appeared on British television in December 1999 as the young David Copperfield for BBC television’s drama David Copperfield. He made his feature film debut in John Boorman’s The Tailor of Panama. He played the screen son of Jamie Lee Curtis and Geoffrey Rush in the film.
