Cameron Diaz made a seductive splash on the big screen in her debut role as Tina Carlyle in The Mask.  Before being cast in the role opposite Jim Carey, Diaz had no previous acting experience.  Before auditioning for The Mask, Diaz was working as a model.  Her role gave her enough experience to gain parts in such independent films as The Last Supper, Feeling Minnesota, and Head Above Water.

 

She then headed back into mainstream films, starring in such blockbusters as My Best Friends Wedding, There’s Something About Mary, Vanilla Sky, Charlie’s Angels, and as the voice of Princess Fiona in Shrek and Shrek 2. 

 

Diaz continues to star in several films each year, was named by Empire magazine as one of the most sexy people, and was named as one of People Magazine 50 most beautiful people in 1998.
