 In The Wedding Singer, New Jersey wedding singer Robbie Hart is hopeless about love and marriage after his fiancée Linda abandons him at the altar. The only woman that may change his mind is Julia, a bright and bubbly catering-service waitress who asks for Robbie's help in planning her own wedding. When Robbie finds out her soon-to-be huspand is nothing but a sleazy, DeLorean-driving junk bond salesman who may be cheating on her while treating women like dirt, Robbie tries to win Julia over before she elopes to Las Vegas. With Billy Idol’s help he may accomplish his task.
The Wedding Singer is filled with mid-1980’s cultural references from the fashion all the way to a Boy George loving singer sidekick.
