 Spider-Man 3, the third version of Spider-Man and Peter Parker, his alter-ego, is coming. Photographer Parker must live with his great responsibility that comes with his unique talents and powers. In Spider-Man 3 Parker will interact with a new love interest, Gwen Stacy, and a new villain, Sandman.
The original cast will return with Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson, and James Franco as Harry Osborn/Green Goblin II. New faces in the third film include Bryce Dallas Howard (The Village, Lady In The Water) playing the role of Gwen Stacy, Thomas Haden Church (Sideways) as Flint Marko/Sandman, and Topher Grace in a role yet to be announced but expected to be another villain.
Currently Spider-Man 3 is in production and scheduled for release on May 4, 2007. In the third film, director Sam Raimi is back with returning screenwriters Steve Ditko, Stan Lee and screenplay writer Alvin Sargent. Spider-Man 3 will also reunited Raimi and producers Laura Ziskin and Marvel Studio’s Avi Arad, both of whom worked on the first two films.
