The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is a coming of age adventure based on the best-selling novel by author Ann Brashares. The film focuses on a special summer shared between four sixteen year old friends. The four lifelong friends have to be separated for the first time and are trying to deal with this reality.

On a shopping trip, the girls find a pair of thrift-shop jeans that fits each of them perfectly and they decide to use these “magic” pants as a way of keeping in touch over the months ahead, when each would be missing the other. It is decided between the girls that each girl will wear the jeans for a week to see what luck they bring her before sending them on to the next. Though miles apart, the four friends still experience life, love and loss together during this unforgettable summer.
