 Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), the aging boxer, is in need of money and decides to step back into the ring for a few small fights. Rocky is surprised to get the opportunity to go up against the current Heavyweight Champion, Mason “The Line” Dixon (Antonio Tarver). Now it is up to this one-time champ to regain his renown.
Once again as director and writer of the movie he stars in, Sylvester Stallone returns not only to the ring but to the famed “Rocky” as well in this 6th film. While all the other Rocky films, starting the series back in 1976, were titled with Roman numerals, this film is simply called Rocky Balboa.
