 In New York Minute, Jane and Roxanne Ryan (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen), twin sisters, go on a journey from Long Island to New York City for overachiever Jane to delivery a speech for a college scholarship abroad. During the trip punk rock rebel Roxy tries to get backstage at a music video shoot to give her demo tape to the band. Things get mixed up when Jane’s day planner takes them into the middle of a black market transaction. A truant officer pursues them as they try to clear their name and not jeopardize Jane’s college dreams or ship Roxy off to a convent school.
