 In the thriller Mindhunters, a serial killer is hiding within a group of eight young FBI agents. The endangered young agents must truly test their crime-solving savvy to figure out who among them is a killer. Each compelled by his or her secret past to probe the criminal mind, they try to solve the mystery before, one by one, they all fall prey to the killer’s ingenious plan.
When the serial murderer causes a simulated FBI training exercise to turn shockingly real, the profilers (minus one of the agents who has meet an unexpected demise) realize this is more than a final exam – it’s a battle for their own lives. Due to their complete isolation, the agents have no choice but to solve the heinous crime on their own. The group struggles to trust one another when all possess the skills, the motives and the means to be the murderer. They have to overcome one another’s suspicion and the perils of overwhelming fear in order to uncover the killer’s identity before it is too late.
Inspired by Agatha Christie’s “Ten Little Indians,” Mindhunters is directed by Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger, Die Hard 2, Deep Blue Sea, Driven).
The ensemble cast includes Val Kilmer, Christian Slater, LL Cool J, Jonny Lee Miler, Kathryn Morris, Clifton Collins Jr., Will Kemp, Patricia Velazquez and Eion Bailey.
