 In Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, petty thief Harry Lockhart, played by Robert Downey Jr., is brought to Los Angeles for an unlikely acting audition. Lockhart then finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation. A detective (Val Kilmer) who has been training Lockhart for his upcoming acting role and the theif’s high school crush (Michelle Monoghan) also become involved in the murder investigation.
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang was both directed and written by Shane Black, a director familiar with the action-comedy-thriller genre.
