Eight Below

Eight Below, a film inspired by a true story, is a story about loyalty and the bonds of friendship set in the extreme wilderness of Antarctica. In Eight Below, Jerry Shepard (Paul Walker), his best friend, Cooper (Jason Biggs), and rough-edged American Geologist (Bruce Greenwood) are three men on a scientific expedition in Antarctica.

When a sudden, unexpected accident along with harsh weather conditions in Antarctica force the men to leave behind their team of beloved sled dogs, the dogs are left to fend for themselves in the frozen continent. The dogs have to struggle for survival alone during the harsh Antarctic winter, battling against the intense frozen wilderness. The dogs must deal with the extreme conditions for over 6 months until the men can begin a rescue mission.
