In Delta Farce, Larry the Cable Guy joins Bill Engvall and DJ Qualls in this comedy about three blue collar heroes on the military’s front line.
Larry is down on his luck, losing both his job and his girlfriend on the same day. Feeling hopeless, he decides to join Bill, his neighbor, and Everett, his combat-happy friend, on a man’s kind of weekend – full of drinking and target practice. However, when the three are mistaken for Army Reservists by extreme and gruff Sergeant Kilgrove, they are put onto an army plane headed for Fallujah, Iraq, however, the group of confused guys are actually ejected in a Humvee somewhere over Mexico by mistake.
Larry, Bill, and Everett are mistakenly convinced they were actually dropped off in the Middle East and, fulfilling their fantasy of being soldiers, save a rural village from a siege of bandits and subsequently become local heroes. Every thing seems great until Carlos Santana (Danny Trejo), a merciless, karaoke-loving warlord, fights back against the trio and forces them to have to lay down their beers and take up their arms to truly prove whether or not they might be real soldiers after all.
Starring Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, DJ Qualls, Marisol Nichols, Danny Trejo and Keith David, Delta Farce is directed by CB Harding, produced by J.P. Williams and Alan Blomquist, and executive produced by Emily Wolfe and Tom Ortenberg.
