 Batman Begins explores the original roots of the Batman legend and the Dark Knight’s development into a superhero and a force for good in Gotham City. Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale), disillusioned due to his parents’ murder, is a reluctant industrial heir. Trying to deal with his parent’s death he travels around the world looking for reason in life and finding the means to fight injustice and the ways to turn fear against those who use fear to hurt others. Once he finds his enlightenment he returns to Gotham part human, part Batman.
He unveils the masked crusader Batman and uses his strength, intelligence, and high tech mechanisms to fight evil that can harm his city. Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins explores the history of the development of Bruce Wayne into Batman and the reasons behind this manifestation.
