The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford examines the private life and public exploits of outlaw Jesse James. In the film, America’s most notorious outlaw Jesse James (Brad Pitt) is in the middle of planning his next infamous robbery. When a reward it put out for his capture, James wages war on his enemies who want to reward money and the fame that comes with capturing him. During his war of the west, James doesn’t yet realize that the greatest threat to his life may ultimately come from those he trusts the most.

Based on the novel by Ron Hansen, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford is directed by Andrew Dominik and features an all star cast that includes Brad Pitt, Casey Affleck, Sam Shepard, Mary-Louise Parker, Jeremy Renner, Paul Schneider and Sam Rockwell.
